The Skyline Conta Blender is designed to enable dust-free transfer and mixing of powders and granules especially helpful when material is transferred from drying to compression/filling equipment.  
It uses a closed-bin / bin-blender concept: powders or granules are loaded into a bin through a dust-tight duct (via a top manhole), then the bin is placed in a rotating cage.
Once the bin is mounted, the cage rotates (at typically 5–20 rpm, using a variable-frequency drive), which tumbles the contents to mix them.
After blending, the bin can be removed on a trolley, and a fresh bin can be loaded enabling continuous or semi-continuous operation with minimal dust exposure.
