The V Blender consists of a V-shaped chamber (two hollow cylindrical shells joined at an angle). As the blender rotates, materials inside tumble and slide under gravity. There are no internal shafts penetrating the mixing chamber which reduces risk of cross-contamination. The working (useful) fill level is typically around 50–65% of the total volume to allow free motion of particles.
